Main Street café is a pop up community café which serves local Coldside and Hilltown residents soup, toasties, paninis and cake on a ‘Pay what you can’ basis. It has run now for over two years and is based in a church hall. We would like you to help us by working flexibly particularly on Mondays and or Tuesdays from approximately 9.30-2pm.

Team members prepare and serve soup and cake, make sandwiches, toasties and paninis to order and offer an efficient friendly and caring service to our customers.

We try to fit the duties to the volunteers, as not everyone can move tables and chairs, and some people have excellent catering skills and would prefer to decorate a cake. There are opportunities to learn new skills and gain confidence in catering ,waiting on and customer service and we aim to send regular volunteers on First Aid and Food Hygiene training where possible.

You will be provided with a light lunch and full training and uniform is provided.
