Organisation aims and objectives

PKAVS is the leading charity advancing the lives of thousands of disadvantaged people and the voluntary sector in Perth & Kinross. Every year, we improve the quality of life of over 5,000 local people, including adults with mental ill health, young and adult unpaid carers and minority communities. We help individuals to overcome personal barriers and ensure they have every chance to achieve their goals. PKAVS has been helping people and families across Perth & Kinross since 1972. We respond to changing community needs and promote volunteering and citizenship among people of all ages. We also support, promote and develop our local Voluntary & Community Sector through information, training and access to a range of facilities at our premises in Perth, The Gateway.
