Church Hall & Community Development Volunteers

  • VO66242

Description

We are developing a longer-term project to upgrade our church hall to enable us to undertake some exciting projects to support the people, and especially young and old people, in local community in Mastrick, Summerhill, Northfield and Sheddocksley.
The first essential step in this project is to have an up to date set of scale drawings of the hall (including a hall, kitchen, stage, two storerooms and toilets), and then as we gain funds for each stage in the project, to be able to develop the plans for submission for funding applications and building warrants to enable work to be authorised.
The most important first step for us is to get a new set of plans drawn up, to enable a building warrant for work to be carried out to the lighting in the hall, to comply with requirements for an entertainment licence.
You will be able to draw the plans to the required statutory standards and support the building warrant application for this first stage of our work.
An important and fantastic volunteer opportunity where your help will make a real difference for the local community and be greatly appreciated. For further details please contact Nick Bowry, E Mail: curatestclements@gmail.com / Tel: 01224 789560 or 079 5060 7574
