Description

Kirrie Connections is a dementia friendly hub offering support and advice to people living with dementia and their carers by offering companionship and running a variety of weekly sessions. Volunteers are a big part of these activities including the opening of the building for groups to allow opportunities for chatting and active listening. The main skill required in a volunteer is the ability to listen and empathise.
