Description

To lead safe and enjoyable walking sessions for people of all ages and abilities particularly those who are or have been inactive.
To promote the health benefits of walking and motivate people to take up walking as a form of physical recreation.
To help people tailor health walking to meet their individual needs.

Restrictions

Experience required: Good people skills / Good communication skills / Good organisation and prioritisation skills / Mature approach to work / Ability to work independently and as part of a team / Strict adherence to confidentiality and Health and Safety procedures.
Travel details: This opportunity takes place in all localities of Shetland. Walk leaders are encouraged to set up walks in their local area.
Minimum age: 18
