Represent and raise awareness of Fertility Network Scotland charity in places of education and in local area to highlight the services and support we provide.
Promote the charity by displaying posters and leaflets
Highlight our campaigns and projects to fellow students and lecturers etc including through social media
Assist Fertility Network Scotland staff at events such as Freshers Week

Meeting and working with new people, learning new skills which would benefit future applications to further education or employment while having fun, gain experience of event participation, fundraising and charity sector in general, knowledge that your support will help people in Scotland experiencing fertility problems.

Organisation aims and objectives

Fertility Network Scotland provides advice, information and support to anyone affected by fertility issues. We raise awareness of the impact of fertility problems and campaign for fair provision of fertility treatment throughout Scotland. By volunteering you can help those who need support.

Restrictions

Experience required: Good communication skills, reliability and trustworthiness, ability to work as part of a team, motivated with good administrative and IT skills, public speaking skills in order to comfortably address teachers, students and members of the public, willing to attend events
Travel details: In volunteers own area
Minimum age: 16

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Public transport costs reimbursed on production of tickets purchased. Mileage paid at 45p/mile.
Training details: Informal chat. Ongoing support with Volunteer Co-ordinator
