Home Start Clackmannanshire have been supporting families throughout our communities since 1988 through a combination of home visiting, group support, play sessions and parenting workshops. We recognise that being a parent, wherever you live and whatever your circumstances isn’t always easy. Our aim at Home Start Clackmannanshire is to help families achieve strong foundations for a healthy and happy future.
Administrative support is needed to assist the Operations Manager in undertaking key tasks including but not limited to those linked with Quality Assurance processes. This role will include:
Developing audit paperwork –checklists relating to files
Family Case file audits to ensure all information is up-to-date
Volunteer file audits to ensure supervision is up-to-date
Random sampling of data input to Home Start’s customised database MESH.
Checking MESH records against expenses claims
Providing support for funding applications by gathering data from MESH.
Training on MESH and Home Start processes will be provided by office manager/operations manager. Access to all other training provided by Home Start, including regular meetings with volunteers who under take family support work.
Bi-monthly 1-1 support will take place with Operations Manager.
This opportunity is flexible with regards to timings however must be within Home Start office hours Mon-Thurs 09:00-17:00, Fri 09:00-15:00
To carry out this role we are looking for someone with strong IT skills, including Word and Excel. You need to be someone who is able to work with deadlines, and engage with a range of people.
As you will have access to vulnerable families information and be among them on occasion, you will need to become a member of the PVG scheme. Home Start will support you through this application.
Home Strat offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in Clackmannanshire. (a)To safe guard, protect and preserve the good health both mental and physical of children and parents of children. (b) to prevent cruelty or maltreatment of children. (c) to relieve sickness, poverty and need amongst children and parents of children. (d) to promote the education of the public in better standards of child care within the area of Clckmannanshire.
