Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people in Scotland affected by chest, heart and stroke illness, through medical research, influencing public policy, advice and information and support in the community.
Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland currently have 32 charity shops around Scotland. The shops help us to raise the funds needed to provide our services in the local communities. Each of these stores relies on a team of volunteers to help support our paid staff.
We are currently recruiting for stockroom volunteers. This role is based in the back of the store within the stock room. You will sort through donations, and organise them in the stock room to ensure that stock rotation is kept as simple as possible as the store room is tidy and organised. The role will also involve hanging stock, ticketing, and pricing the stock.
You will work as part of a team, and gain organisational skills.
The objects of the Charity are:- 3.1 the advancement of health through improving the quality of life for people in Scotland, and elsewhere, affected by chest, heart and stroke illness, through medical research, influencing public policy, advice and information, and support in the community. 3.2 to engage in and to undertake all other similar charitable purposes.
