Events Manager

The events Manager should liaise with the tutors and students of the school regarding contributions to the programme and accordingly, plan the programme/evening.
Some of the tasks and responsibilities include:
Help with the planning of the event – choosing a venue, sending invitations, chasing up responses, responding to queries, organising food. Liaising with staff at the venue to confirm arrangements and equipment needed for the event.

These events should be discussed with the school's manager either in person or by email, and the events can be organised at the person's own time, as long as everything is ready at the day of the event.

Organisation aims and objectives

The Stirling School of English provides English tuition at all levels to small groups of non-English speakers. Training and support will be provided. Being, or having been a teacher is not necessary, as appropriate training will be given.


Experience required: Some experience required however volunteer will be supported by staff
