Buddy

Description

At Moray Food Plus we feel it is important to include people from all walks of life as volunteers. Supported volunteers are people who have additional needs - such as social or learning difficulties, or mental health issues. We are looking for volunteers to 'buddy' with a less able volunteer to help them be able to be fully involved in the work of Moray Food Plus. Buddies will be able to commit to supporting someone for short-term placements and will be willing to volunteer themselves during periods where a buddy is not needed. Training, supervision and support will be provided. A PVG Scheme record check will be required on successful appointment.
