We are looking for volunteers to help at our various youth provisions. We have a youth art group that runs every Friday evening and we also have children and families cooking classes. The volunteer role will involve working with our youth worker and project worker to deliver art groups, cooking groups or other groups as part of our youth provision. The role will include, setting up and tidying up before and after sessions, working with the young people on various projects, engaging with the young people to help them develop and to find out what they would like to do.To adhere to our safeguarding policy and follow all relelvant procedures.

Supporting staff to plan and facilitate group activities for primary aged children in Kinship care, this group volunteering role would suit someone who is confident and enthusiastic and wants to work with young people. The volunteering role would be from 4pm to 6.30pm every Tuesday during term time, and would support the facilitator to set up the activity and clean up afterwards. There may be additional opportunities during the school holidays.

LGBT Youth Scotland is currently recruiting new volunteers to join our team across The Scottish Borders (Selkirk), Dumfries and East Dunbartonshire (Kirkintilloch). We are Scotland’s national charity for LGBTQ+ young people, working with 13–25 year olds across the country. Our goal is to make Scotland the best place for LGBTQ+ young people to flourish and thrive. We play a leading role in the provision of quality youth work to LGBTQ+ young people that promotes their health and wellbeing. Our youth groups meet weekly and your role would be to assist in planning and delivering youth group sessions and providing support for the young people who attend as part of the local team.

No matter how good our services are, we can't properly support our community well if we don't have good Support people in the team. We aim to bring residents and opportunities together We would like someone who has the ability plan weekly exercises in order to get to know the children, help and support the children to plan fundraising activities to raise funds for their own groups use, the ability to listen to the children and be able to communicate effectively with the participants of the group Senior Youth club Tuesday 5.30-8pm, Wednesday 5-7.30pm.
