Big Noise Torry Volunteers

  • VO63423

Big Noise Torry works with children to help them transform their lives through music. We run afterschool clubs (term-time 2:30pm – 5pm) and holiday clubs (9am-1pm) for children in Torry centered around learning music. It’s really rewarding work where you will see children from the age of 6 learn to play instruments and grow into proud young people with a sense of accomplishment. The children come to Big Noise and learn to play their instruments, sing, work as part of a team, work alone, develop social skills and have lots of fun. As a volunteer you will be part of a warm, fun and dynamic team who mentor the children along their path. You will become a positive role model in the lives and become someone they look forward to seeing.

We are looking for volunteers to support us in our afterschool and holiday clubs. Our volunteers help with everything from collecting children from school in our walking lines, helping with snack, helping with set-up and pack up, being a role model and helping them to play their instrument. No musical experience is required – as long as you are happy to learn and have fun. For more details please contact Kirsty Jackson, E Mail: / Tel: 01224 974707
