Description

COME JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM:)
The Hub Café in Cults Kirk Centre provides a wonderful community café setting for people to meet and enjoy good company, teas, coffees, refreshments etc. The Café is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm for coffees, cakes, traybakes, soup, sandwiches, quiches and baked potatoes.

The cafe area can seat up to 40 people. Larger groups can be accommodated in either the Little Lochnagar or Lochnagar rooms which are both adjacent to the cafe area. All of these areas can also be booked for groups or functions, as can the kitchen facilities. A children's area has been set up with a table, bench seat and basket of toys.

We are currently seeking new volunteers to join our fantastic volunteer team. Tasks include helping with food preparation, serving customers and clearing up. No specific experience is required-just an interest in meeting new people, happy to serve with a pleasant manner. We have around six volunteers per day, supported by the Café Manager.

Our café is a lovely, warm and friendly place. We have two teabreaks a day and a lunchbreak. All volunteers are provided excellent support and relevant training/guidance including induction training and new volunteers can shadow until they are confident-full support offered always.

A great, enjoyable opportunity to volunteer in a nice café and help make a real difference for people and the community. For further details please contact the Hub Manager Tracy Gordon on e-mail.: tg5447@yahoo.com / tel.: 07503867682.
