Description

Help in the Borders Pet Rescue Charity Shop in Duns. Volunteer for a few hours a week in a friendly environment and raise money to support the care and re-homing of abandoned pets.

The shop provides an important source of income which is essential for the running of the pet centre in Earlston. The shop sells everything from crockery, books, furniture, and clothing. We need people to help take in donations, sort out donations, sell items, and promote our charity by giving information to interested people. Volunteer for a few hours or more and gain useful retail skills.

Organisation aims and objectives

To try to relieve the suffering of animals in the Scottish Borders that come into our care. Borders Pet Rescue takes in dogs, cats and small animals that are no longer able to be looked after in their own homes for whatever reason. We receive no funding and rely totally on donations from the public to fund our work.
