At Anthony Nolan Trust we work to save the lives of people with blood cancer who need a stem cell (or bone marrow) transplant. We run the country's largest bone marrow register.

To help us in this vital work we are currently recruiting volunteers for the beautiful tea bar we have at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, Castle Street, Aberdeen. In this position you will be involved in the smooth running of the tea bar at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. The tea bar is open to staff, lawyers and crown witnesses. Very pleasant surroundings and lovely people. The role involves making and serving teas, coffees, scones, pancakes, etc., for three hours per week/fortnight.

Restrictions

Experience required: No experience necessary – all training will be provided.
Travel details: Based at Sheriff Court House Castle Street Aberdeen AB10 1WP on main bus route, restricted parking
Minimum age: 16

Support

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Public transport rates will be payable weekly on the production of receipts.
Training details: Good support provided to all volunteers. There will be training on all aspects, including health and safety procedures. Will have the support of other volunteers and the manager.
