Stirling Citizens Advice Bureau is the best known advice service in Stirlingshire, helping those in distress.

We are a volunteer-led organisation, with over 70 well-trained volunteers and 20 paid staff. We provide free, impartial and confidential advice to help people in need with the problems they face including debt, benefits, and relationship-breakdown, as well as employment, housing and consumer issues.

Last year we dealt with 14000 issues for 5900 clients and generated £1.3 million in additional income for Stirling residents as well as resolving £2.3 million of debt for people in reduced circumstances.

We are seeking Trustees with management experience in business, charity or health sectors. Our Trustees shape strategy and give direction to management. Trustees are expected to serve on our sub-committees and have the opportunity to support Bureau management in day-to-day activities.
