To support the clients to leave their homes and onto the buses, ensuring safety to and from the day centre. Support wheelchair users and clients with walking aids. Training will be provided.

Organisation aims and objectives

The overall aims of Braid House Day Centre are to provide a high quality of Day Care for older people in Livingston and the surrounding area to enable them to have the opportunity to enhance their quality of life through the provision of a range of social and practical support services.











A PVG will be completed for all volunteers.
Experience required: An interest in supporting older people would be an advantage.
Travel details: Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Throughout all of West Lothian.
Minimum age: 18

Expenses details: Braid House will reimburse out of pocket expenses required to attend the centre, we will also provide the volunteer with lunch.
Taster available: Yes
Taster details: Candidates can come to the centre and meet with management to discuss opportunities.
Training details: PATS training, regular supervision and ongoing in house training.
