Organisation aims and objectives

Our vision is an inclusive community radio that has ‘something for everybody’, especially those with interest and/or links to the Buckie area. Our station will be a welcoming one that makes it easy for anybody to get involved, and it will have a vibrant, dynamic and fun atmosphere. As well as promoting unique local culture, our station will act as a vital information point for the entire community. It will be relevant, interesting, up-to-date and produced to a high standard. We want the station to be played in local shops and other business locations. We want local people to know both the station’s telephone number and main jingle off by heart. We not only want the station to provide a meaningful service to the local community but also, through the internet, connect with people much further afield. Buckie’s Community Radio will be unique, will celebrate the culture of the local area and, will strive to always interest. By remaining fresh and well supported, it will still be going in 2050.
