Treasurer - St Andrews

  • VO62936
  • Board/trustee role

Holy Trinity has recently had an Interim Minister appointed to work with them over the next 18-24 months. This is a crucial period which will give the opportunity to look at options for the future including various possibilities for upgrading the impressive building, 'the toon kirk', in the very heart of St Andrews. Over the past few years we have been operating with a deficit and it is important that we look at opportunities for the building to be more widely used and thereby bring in more income. While there are limited reserves to run a continuing deficit there are considerable reserves which can be used for building upgrade and adaptations. Bookkeeping is maintained by the office secretary and quarterly reports are produced by a firm of accountants. At this challenging time we need someone to hold the post of Treasurer to work with our Finance Committee and Kirk Session.
