Guide Dogs is a charity which specialises in providing support to people living with sight loss and their families. The charity provide support in a number of different way, through our Guide Dog service, our My Guide service and the Children and Young People Service. We also work with numerous volunteers up and down the country who campaign for changes to be made in their local communities. Also we have made progress in finding new roles for Guide Dogs which aren’t suitable for a Guide Dog role, our Companion Dog service allows these dogs to work with children and families to help develop confidence in a child or young person who is living with sight loss.
You will have the chance to take part in some or all of the following:

Guide Dogs are looking for a Fundraiser to assist the local fundraising team in promoting and taking part
in a variety of activities to raise money for Guide Dogs.
In this role you will have the chance to take part in activities such as street collections on ‘flag’ days,
helping on stalls at local events to fundraiser and keeping track of what we sell (including the cuddly toys),
taking collection boxes to local businesses and counting donations.
