Description

The volunteers have very unique opportunity to support children and young people from 5- 18 years old with additional support needs during holiday clubs. The holiday clubs run in accordance with Perth and Kinross Council school holidays. We run for 7 weeks throughout the year: 1 week in Easter; 5 weeks in summer and 1 week in October. We run Monday to Friday , 9am-4pm. We visit a variety of venues including the cinema, parks, museums, and the zoo. These holiday clubs are great fun for both the children and volunteers. Volunteers are required to stay with the child allocated to them, encourage them to join in, mix with their peers and enjoy the outings. Playleaders are on hand throughout the trips to support the volunteers. We welcome all suggestions from our volunteers and value what you can bring to our organisation.
