Our volunteer business mentors are paired with community sports clubs who need expertise in a particular area to become more sustainable and increase their capacity. As a Sported volunteer, you will have the opportunity to share your professional skills and expertise with community groups, having a huge effect on making sure these clubs survive and thrive.
Sported is a leading ‘Sport for Development’ charity, helping to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people across the UK. We pair volunteers with skills from the business sector (strategy planning, fundraising, PR & Marketing, finance, governance and evaluation & impact) with our member community clubs to support them in becoming more effective and sustainable. We support hundreds of different projects of all shapes and sizes, from regional charities to individually run community sport activities. These groups become Members of sported. for free, and they can then access a range of resources including one-to-one support from our Mentors, advice from our Experts Team, online toolkits, funding and exclusive offers.
