Volunteers between 21 and 70 years old with a D1 class license to drive our vehicles to provide a door-through-door service for those with mobility challenges – elderly, disabled, health issues, geographic remoteness.
Covid-19 training will be given to volunteers.

D1 required for driving our vehicles.
Experience required: 21 years old with clean driving licence with minimum 2 years driving experience, good communication skills and the ability to relate to elderly or disabled people.
Travel details: Our services cover East Lothian, Midlothian and Edinburgh also national journeys on an availability basis from our base at 24/3a Dryden Road, Bilston Glen Industrial Estate, Loanhead

Expenses details: Out-of-pocket expenses with be paid.
Training details: The volunteer will have to complete a driving assessment and successfully complete MIDAS training. Other training includes first aid, manual handling and disability awareness.
