Charity Shop Driver

We have a position available, your level of involvement is arranged to suit your availability. You should have the use of your own car and hold a full driving licence for 3 years. Ability to use sign language (BSL) is desirable but not essential. Volunteers must be fit, be able to carry loads and climb stairs without difficulties.

The role requires, collecting donated stock and delivering stock to the charity store

Deaf Links provides a wide range of services, activities and learning opportunities for Deaf, hard of hearing and sensory impaired people.


Experience required: Hold a full driving licence for 3 years, interest in working with a charity, experience in working with the deaf community and using BSL is desired but not essential. Must have access to their own car and be fully insured.
Travel details: Deliveries take place in and around Dundee. Mileage expenses are reimbursed
Minimum age: 21

Expenses details: Mileage rate of (to be arranged) per mile is offered on a monthly basis.
Training details: Full induction training and Deaf Awareness Training to be given and other training relevant to post
