On Ward Volunteer

Description

Royal Voluntary Service volunteers can support older people on the hospital wards through the engagement in conversation, reading, and help out either lunchtime or teatime, to provide fresh drinking water, juice, coffee, tea to patients. The company and chat for the patients is important. Volunteers will liase with the volunteer co-ordinator or the ward nursing supervisor regarding the practical support required.

Restrictions

Must be over 16 for PVG clearance
Experience required: People that are outgoing, friendly personality and like caring for others
Travel details: At Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin on wards 5, 6 & 7
Minimum age: 16
