The British Heart Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our shop teams, volunteering is a practical opportunity to do something worthwhile, learn new skills, make friends and an opportunity to develop and help save lives. If you enjoy getting out and about and meeting people this could be the opportunity for you! Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to collect donations in the local community.

The role involves picking up donations in the local area, working with the manager to arrange suitable days and times, promoting our free gift pick up service and building links in the local community.

Volunteering can help you gain valuable work experience, meet people, make new friends and learn or develop your skills, your time helps raise vital funds to beat heart disease.

We are the nation's heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research.\r\nCoronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer but we are leading the fight against it. Our pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.\r\nOur work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments that are helping to change the face of the UK's fight against heart disease.\r\nOur vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease.










We're looking for someone who can spare at least 2 hours per week with a minimum commitment of 8 weeks.


Experience required: No experience required, you will enjoy working as part of a team, and like to work in a busy environment. A full driving license is essential and access to your own vehicle.
