To ensure donated items including furniture, textile, crockery and ornaments are clean, safe and ready to be issued to referral clients.

  • Work wiithin the role and task of a volunteer worker for RAMH
  • Liaise with the staff to identify and agree work that requries to be done to items of furniture and prioritise essential items
  • Undertake these cleaning and repairs safely
  • Participate in relevant training as required
  • Aware of and implement the RAMH philosophy
  • Help ensure a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and showroom for the public and volunteers

Organisation aims and objectives

RAMH is a voluntary organisation and a company limited by guarantee. We were established in 1978 and have been an active provider of services since 1990 and currently offers a variety of support to adults with mental Health problems in Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and South Ayrshire. These include supported accommodation, counselling and day services


Experience required: Essential : Good listening skills, team player and flexible approach to work, ability to be sensitive and respect confidentiality, commitment to efficiency and good standards of work, patience and an ability to relate to services, reliable honest
