Description

The British Heart Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our shop teams, volunteering is a practical opportunity to do something worthwhile, learn new skills, make friends and an opportunity to develop and help save lives. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy working in a busy environment this might be the opportunity for you! Good organisational skills and an understanding of current clothes trends would be beneficial.

The role involves helping to sort, tag and steam garments ready for the sales floor along with keeping the stock room tidy and organised.

Volunteering can help you gain valuable work experience, meet people, make new friends and learn or develop your skills; full training will be available for this role and your time helps raise vital funds to beat heart disease.

We're looking for someone who can spare at least 2 hours per week with a minimum commitment of 8 weeks.

Restrictions

Experience required: No experience required, you will enjoy working as part of a team, and like to work in a busy environment.
Travel details: 104 High Street, North Berwick, EH39 4HE This opportunity is accessible by foot, bus, car and train.
Minimum age: 16

Expenses details: Travel expenses are paid for volunteering for 5+ hours per day.
Training details: Volunteers complete a training programme of 5 induction modules including Health and Safety and manual handling.
