B.H.F. has a number of volunteering roles that you can do in their Murraygate shop. Some examples,

Sales Assistant - meet and greet people and deliver great customer service.
Cash Desk/Till Operators - process transactions through the till and answer the telephone.
Housekeepers - All staff make sure the shop is clean and tidy (dusted and hoovered etc.)
Stock Processors - select and prepare the best quality items to sell.
Music Lovers - We are always looking for people with an ear for music to sort stock.
Window Dressers - Are you creative? You can help create eye-catching window display and help our shop dress for success.

Organisation aims and objectives

The aims of British Heart Foundation Retail Division are to make our financial contribution to beating heart disease through great retailing; to provide a convenient contact point for the public who may have queries or need information about the B.H.F. and the work that we do; and to be the face of the B.H.F. on the High Street and to project a professional image.

No minimum time commitment required. You can volunteer for as much time as you want. Some people volunteer for a few hours a week and others for 3 or 4 days a week.

Restrictions

Experience required: No experience required as full training will be given.
Travel details: BHF Murraygate or Wellgate.
Minimum age: 16

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: If you work 4 hours in one shift then bus travel expenses will be reimbursed on proof of bus receipt.
