Description

A radio station with a real Joie de Vivre has just hit the local airwaves and is geared to enrich the lives of older people across North Lanarkshire. Reshaping Radio, a community online station, has been launched as part of the nationalwide Reshaping Care for Older People (RCOP) programme. A key aim of RCOP is to give voluntary and community groups the resources and backing to enable them to take a leading role in developing and contributing to the support and services their community needs. It's hoped the new station will capture imaginations, as well as provide a platform for local talent across North Lanarkshire.

The beauty of radio is that anything is possible and we've already got a vibrant programme lined up; from music, book and film reviews, story-telling to updates on local supports and events.

We have a team of dedicated volunteers and contributors but we're always looking for new material to fill the show.

We'd urge anyone who'd be interested in participating and contributing, regardless of age, to get in touch.
