Breakfast Assistant

  • VO58738

Description

Our breakfast assistants volunteer alongside the General Catering Assistants at Leuchie, to ensure that our guests receive their chosen breakfast in a timely fashion when they arrive in the dining room in the morning.
Duties include:

• Assisting in setting up the dining room
• Preparing breakfast for guests as they arrive
• Preparing & delivering breakfast trays to guests who are taking breakfast in their room
• Assisting guests with eating & drinking as required
• Clearing dishes to dishwasher
• Returning clean dishes to dining room

The social aspect of this role is equally as important as these duties – our guests hugely enjoy the wide range of staff and volunteers they interact with. The focus at Leuchie is on a holiday environment and this role is key to setting them up for the day.

Organisation aims and objectives

To be the UK's best provider of high quality respite for individuals with high dependency physical conditions. We will continually support guests and their carers to enhance the quality of their life. At Leuchie House, our philosophy is that everyone deserves a decent break, whatever their individual care requirements. There is a country house feel at Leuchie, rather than a clinical atmosphere, with the emphasis on social as well as health care. We do everything we can to ensure guests' preferences are taken into account, as you would expect on any break, and offer physiotherapy and a variety of activities and entertainment throughout your stay
