The project coordinator will facilitate the digital skills clubs, providing equipment, learning materials and refreshments. Volunteers will come along and help learners, either one-to-one or in small groups, on a range of topics, depending on what learners would like to cover using resources provided by the coordinator.

Experience required: Good general IT skills and good communication skills are essential. Previous experience of working with the internet and email are essential. Other skills such as using Skype, social media and online shopping are desirable.
Travel details: We are currently looking for club helpers in Dalkeith, Rosewell & Penicuik. Volunteers must arrange their own transport to and from the groups.

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Volunteers travel expenses will be reimbursed for journeys to and from computer club venues. We will reimburse public transport rates or mileage at 45p per mile. Expenses can be reimbursed weekly or monthly.
Training details: All volunteers will provided with an initial induction/training session. There will then be the opportunity for volunteers to attend a computer club to observe before beginning to volunteer. Ongoing training and support will also be provided.
