Do you have an interest in retail and fashion? Want to learn or update your current skills? Do you enjoy meeting people and have some spare time which could help others? Deaf Links is a Deaf Led Charity based in the Tayside Deaf Hub and we are looking for people to volunteer in our charity shop in the Wellgate Shopping Centre. We are looking for motivated and friendly people to help out in all aspects within the store. The role will involve sorting stock, hanging clothes, pricing items and serving customers and any other work associated within the store. Training for this will be provided.

Organisation aims and objectives

Empower deaf people to become equal citizens in the wider community. To support this we run a variety of social enterprise activities including café, room hire, catering, BSL training, communications support and deaf and deafblind awareness training.

None.
Experience required: Full training will be provided but an interest in working with deaf and hard of hearing people would be advantageous. Also you must have a friendly, reliable and approachable manner as well as being happy to work with a wide range of people.
Travel details: Top Floor, Wellgate Shopping Centre, Dundee.
Minimum age: 16
