Description

A varied and exciting role supporting the day to day fundraising in the office including: organising and attending events, maintaining supporter database, updating social media, attending fundraising meetings and researching funders.

No two days are the same in the fundraising office. The volunteer will be able to gain an insight into various methods of fundraising from arranging events, community fundraising, funding applications, handling supporters, thanking donors and social media fundraising. No fundraising experience necessary however it would be highly beneficial if the volunteer is well organised, has a positive attitude and is IT literate. There is scope in this role for creativity and imagination.

Organisation aims and objectives

Plus supports disabled children and young people (0-35yrs) to have access to play, leisure and sports activities. This also provides parents and cares with regular short breaks.

Restrictions

Experience required: No fundraising experience necessary however it would be highly beneficial if the volunteer is well organised, has a positive attitude and is IT literate. There is scope in this role for creativity and imagination.
Travel details: PLUS Offices. There may be the opportunity to go to community events usually around the Stirling area.
Minimum age: 18

Training details: Depending on the needs and how far the volunteer wants to go there is scope for various training opportunities such as First Aid, Manual Handling.
