Description

Youth Football Scotland will pair the volunteer with a local youth club to provide the latest news, match reports and featured stories from the club, promoting their local successes to the national grassroots audience. The volunteer will:

Receive multi-media training before beginning the position.
Become the head of journalism and media for a local youth club.
Learn the media and journalism skills and methods used at professional clubs.
Get their own camera and IT equipment to improve their skills.
Finish the programme with a multi-media portfolio to present to employers.
Dedicate approximately 5-10 hours per week to the programme.

Organisation aims and objectives

Youth Football Scotland is the membership organisation which supports youth football teams across Scotland. It acts as a one-stop shop to provide governance and support to regions and local teams across the country.
