Description

Our service users come to spend the day with us and we engage them in activities according to their interests. Some of our serviced users are interested in helping with our garden. We would welcome volunteers to help people enjoy and participate in maintenance of our garden.

Organisation aims and objectives

New Rannoch is a day centre for older people with dementia. Our aim is to provide a quality, person centred, flexible and evidence based service that supports individual strengths, interests and levels of independence to enable people with dementia to remain valued, active and independent in their communities.

Experience required: We would like volunteers to have an interest in helping people with dementia and have the people they are helping as the focus of their volunteer work. Volunteers would have to join the PVG scheme.
