Description

The Volunteer will work alongside youth workers and parent volunteers to develop, organise and deliver a high standard of social, play and recreation opportunities for both junior and senior youth club members on a Wednesday evening during term time.
Volunteer at Islesburgh Youth Club. Short term projects or volunteer long term. Islesburgh Youth Club need volunteers to help their core volunteers to run activities for their members. Help set up and run activities or bring your own ideas and skills to share.
Activities may include: Craft / Baking and food prep / drama / knitting / net mending / table top games / sports / topical learning activities (local and national) / activities to promote self-esteem and positive body image / peer support / excursions out with the club - Beach trips, BBQ, Cinema, disco, swimming etc / fundraising activitiesVolunteers need to be:
Sociable / Ability to develop into a Positive role model for the children /Ability to work independently or as part of a team / Sense of humour and like having fun / Trustworthy / Reliable.
