Description

RSVP Forth Valley volunteers plan, organise and lead around 120 local walks per year. Under the guidance of trained Walk Leaders, regular participating walkers enjoy considerable social & physical benefits.
Working with the walk leader team, the Walking Group Organiser will ensure that new walker membership forms are completed & that walkers' registers are maintained. Together they will also co-ordinate the production & distribution of quarterly walk schedules.
The Walking Group Organiser will also:-

  • take overall responsibility for co-ordinating walk leaders' activity
  • link up with strategic partners to further develop the local walking network
  • attend RSVP Advisory Board meetings & report to members
  • conduct safety checks & risk-assess new walks
This is a tremendous opportunity for you to meet new people, maintain skills and keep fit.
In addition, you will have the satisfaction that you are making a real difference to the lives of older people and discovering more abou the community.
