Wasp Community Club is a registered charity set up to provide sporting opportunities to children within Clackmannanshire. There are currently 250 children aged between 5 and 16 attending, and around 60 active volunteers. The club also runs and is looking to extend its provision into areas such as employability training and adult fitness.

The club are looking for motivated individuals with an interest in coaching young people. You do not need any qualifications to volunteer as a football coach, you just need to be positive, fun and have an interest in developing aspiring young people.

The focus of the Community Club is that everyone, regardless of ability, can take part and that it should be fun. The ability to bear this in mind whilst dealing with parents and kids is vital. The key words are maturity and resilience.

In return for your time, the club will provide full SFA coaching qualifications, First Aid, put you through your PVG, and provide £15 a week to spend at the leisure bowl, and free entry to Alloa home games.
