Description

Volunteer committee members are wanted to join a committee managing a group of volunteers for a totally voluntary organisation that promotes and supports those with disability in the Stirling and Forth Valley area. Established for 25 years. Six meetings each year plus an AGM. A volunteer would be required to take part in projects e.g. fundraising/liaising with other organisations/managing volunteers.

Organisation aims and objectives

We provide information and advice to local disabled people in such areas as welfare benefits, community care, access to the built environment, holidays, transport, and educational opportunities. We are a focus for action, representing the views and concerns of service users on various local forums.
