CoD, a voluntary organisation of 25 years standing, provides advice, advocacy and assistance to people with disabilities in the Stirling area. In addition to assisting clients with disability applications, its work also involves assisting with the preparation of submissions and representing clients at Social Security appeal tribunals. This includes both preparing written submissions and attending tribunals.
We provide information and advice to local disabled people in such areas as welfare benefits, community care, access to the built environment, holidays, transport, and educational opportunities. We are a focus for action, representing the views and concerns of service users on various local forums.
