Description

Volunteers can get involved with various aspects including planting bulbs, making up containers, digging, clearing ground areas. If you have your own greenhouse you can help by bringing on plants.

Organisation aims and objectives

We are Forfar residents who want to make our town as attractive as it can be. By bringing on plants, putting up baskets, maintaining them, and by taking responsibility for garden areas around the town, we will make Forfar a colourful and a better place to live in and to visit.

No minimum age. Volunteers should bring along their own equipment if possible.

Dunbeath Heritage Trust is situated in the old schoolhouse in Dunbeath and was two walled gardens as well as many other areas in the village owned by the Trust. They are looking for volunteers with an interest in gardening to help maintain and/or develop some of the community spaces.
