Description

The garden has a patio area - a small lawn, shrub borders, a shed. A vegetable patch, a small woodland area and a secluded upper area with shrubs and a kilmarnock willow. There is professional advice available if you need it, and you will be able to encourage members to work inthe garden and use it for relaxation.

Organisation aims and objectives

The association is run by and for for people who have an interest in mental health. The Catch 23 drop in centre aims to provide an attractive comfortable and relaxed centre where members can find a good listener, get information, join an organised activity or just take a break. We provide practical help, emotional support and fun.

Experience required: General gardening skills. Enthusiasm, patience, friendly. able to teach others simple skills.
Travel details: The garden is at "Catch 23" 23 Bayhead, Stornoway, 5 minutes walk from town centre. Parking areas close by.
Minimum age: 18
