Add Your Voice To The Hundreds Of Residents Already Making A Difference In Aberdeen!

Q. What is Aberdeen City Voice?

A. Aberdeen City Voice is a panel of Aberdeen City residents. We contact them on a regular basis to ask for their views on a wide range of issues that affect the community. At the moment over 1000 residents are on the City Voice Panel and we send them 3 questionnaires a year. The City Voice is supported by Aberdeen’s Community Planning Partnership so it covers a wide range of topics.

Q. Why should I join Aberdeen City Voice?

A. Its very important that the panel represents the whole of Aberdeen’s population so we are now calling for more panelists to join. The results of these questionnaires are used to shape policy, measure performance and plan future service delivery. Basically, it tells the service providers what they are doing right and what they could be doing better!

Panel members also receive a copy of a newsletter that updates them on past City Voice questionnaires and more importantly, what the service providers are going to do with the results!

You Tube Content Creator

Arkbound Foundation now have an opportunity for a You Tube content creator. This a new project which is exciting as it can be developed in any direction under the flexible guidance of our original creator. We are looking for fresh ideas to promote this platform and gain followers to showcase the incredible work of the Arkbound Foundation. This is a long term project as we want consistency so we are looking for a commitment of at least 6 months, committing 2/3 hours a week. This is a home based/remote opportunity. Online Outreach Volunteers

We are non-profit-making-volunteer run Arts Collective and charity providing a platform both online and offline for those who struggle with mental health, addiction, gender dysphoria, sexuality, feel like they don't quite 'fit', or feel estranged to this world ,We encourage you to express yourselves through art as catharsis. Awareness and Fundraising-Team Jak Ambassadors

Team Jak provides practical and emotional support to children and young people with cancer and related illnesses, their family and friends and those bereaved. Team Jak Ambassadors can have different roles including family support and fundraising, including - raising awareness and fundraising opportunities such as bag packs, helping at a merchandise stand and collection buckets in supermarkets, schools, colleges, shopping centres and concerts. We will be hosting a number of larger fundraising events in Aberdeen throughout the year with the aim to raise £70,000 to open our Jak’s Den in Aberdeen. Family support roles can be rewarding and involve anything from playing with the children during our activity days and at our child and teenage groups, to making tea and coffee at our support sessions, talking with parents, sorting out merchandise bags and delivering to our newly diagnosed warriors in hospital, and preparing items for events. Volunteers receive initial induction training, ongoing support and any further relevant training opportunities. Team Jak have an Awards scheme and we hold a yearly event dedicated to thanking our volunteers and celebrating their success. All volunteers make a real difference and are greatly appreciated.
