We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities available at the museum
Shop/ reception/
Visitor information, giving information, taking money, engaging with the public
Collection store and documentation work: cataloguing, or research, or data inputting, and/or sorting and tidying
Meeting and greeting people, or taking visitors on walking tours or tours in museum
Gardening
Board of directors / trustees
Strategic thinking
Fundraising and helping at fundraising events (like coffee mornings/concerts etc)

Weekdays 10-1.30 or 1.30 -5
Saturdays & Sunday 11- 3

Organisation aims and objectives

To run and promote past history in the museum and present a collection to visitors and local people
