Have you recently retired and have some spare time? Have you some experience in the care of the elderly and are willing to help? Have you any other skills which can be used with training to help our members?
The training that is offered is: Dementia Awareness, Heart Start, First Aid, Moving and Handling, Passenger Assistance and Intro to Food Handling.

Organisation aims and objectives

A new purpose built day centre opened in North Berwick in January 2005. It is now open Mon-Fri and members are people who live in North Berwick or the local area, who need some extra help and support to stay independent.. The day centre provides a safe environment with a lovely garden. Activities are organised to offer something for everyone. A home made 2 course lunch is served to members.










Time to suit the volunteer


Experience required: A caring attitude and comfortable working with the frail, elderly and dementia sufferers.
