Youth Work

  • VO38751

Supporting youth workers and getting alongside young people to help out in activities. This is an opportunity for people within the community to engage with their local young people and give them somewhere to go i.e. stop them gathering in the streets. Get involved in educational activities and trips that we provide. General help is welcome, as is bringing any special skills, e.g. arts, crafts, sport, music, etc. The Youth Café is open 5 evenings per week (M.T.T.F.S) where the young people can take advantage of a number of activities, and have access to information, including a gaming system, music, television, snacks, and a range of soft drinks.
