Action for Children would like to offer suitable candidates a diversity of opportunities. We are looking for enthusiastic people who have a real interest in the wellbeing of vulnerable young people and families. There are opportunities for mentors, advocates, one to one work, groupwork and befriending.

Organisation aims and objectives

Action for Children has grown substantially since the early 1990's, with double the number of projects and a consequent increase of staff. Action for Children's strategic plan 2003/08 aims to further our growth and development to become "the UK's acknowledged voluntary service leader in the provision of high quality children's services".
