Shinty Referees are required to officiate at matches in St Andrews, Dundee, Perth, Aberdour and Edinburgh. Additional opportunities exist for matches in West Highlands and Argyll and Bute. The role of the referee requires a good level of fitness to a standard of that expected in a 'fun-run' or a bike-a-thon'. Training and support are on hand to initiate you onto the rules.
To develop the sport of shinty, running competition programmes and training volunteers to run clubs and officiate at matches.
