  • Home-based volunteering

Big hearted animal lovers required to become volunteer Pet Foster Carers and provide a temporary home from home for pets whose owners are experiencing an emergency situation.
PFSS provides short-term, emergency foster care for pets whose owners are facing one of the following situations:
• Ill health
• Temporary homelessness
• Domestic abuse

Our volunteer pet foster carers provide a full time caring home for pets who may be under stress having been temporarily separated from their owners while they are unable to care for them.

Organisation aims and objectives

To provide care/exercise for pets for those, who for some reason, are unable to do this themselves. Our main priority is given to elderly people who may be hospitalized for a period or are just unable to cope for a while. We work with social services and police sometimes and have recently helped people who are temporarily homeless.
